Leaders of Greifenberg and Barony of Caux Meet

GREIFENBERG (GPA): On Friday, 23 May 2008, HRH Grand Duke Paul of Greifenberg met with His Lordship, John I, the Baron of Caux, at the North American Embassy of the Sovereign Barony of Caux in Toronto, Canada.

The meeting, which lasted approximately one hour, allowed the two leaders to become better acquainted and to discuss matters of mutual importance to both the Grand Duchy of Greifenberg and the Sovereign Barony of Caux. During their meeting, His Lordship, the Baron of Caux, bestowed upon HRH Grand Duke Paul the title of Knight Grand Commander of the Order of the Raven (Ordo Corvinus).

According to Joseph Hilger, State Foreign Minister of Greifenberg, HRH Grand Duke Paul’s visit to the North American Embassy of the Sovereign Barony of Caux is part of an ongoing diplomatic effort to reinvigorate the League of Small Nations. Mr. Hilger stated that during the meeting, “HRH Grand Duke Paul expressed His strong desire to see Greifenberg and the Sovereign Barony of Caux strengthen their bilateral relationship and to explore avenues through which the two nations could cooperate in intermicronational efforts to include the League of Small Nations.”
