Greifenberg Post Announces 2010 Stamp Issue Plan

GREIFENBERG — Greifenberg Post announced today plans to issue of nine commemorative and special stamps for 2010.

Stamps will be issued to mark such significant historical events as the International Year of Communications and the birth anniversaries of Frédéric Chopin, Jacques Yves Cousteau, Gustav Mahler, and Mother Teresa. A complete list of the stamps to be issued during 2010 can be found on the Greifenberg Post webpage.

For the first time Greifenberg Post will issue a Stamp Day stamp, as well as two Christmas stamps. Martha Petersen, Director of Greifenberg Post, also confirmed that beginning this year all stamps issued by the Grand Duchy of Greifenberg will also be available as first day covers.
