GREIFENBERG – The implications of the so-called “Kellett Affair” deepened today when Martin Foor, State Secretary for the Interior, announced that the investigation is now focused on whether Paul Kellett, the former State Minister for Economic Affairs, acted alone in his efforts to derail Greifenberg’s wider involvement in intermicronational affairs. According to Foor, “it now appears that an unnamed micronation is believed to have had a hand in instigating the incident.” Government officials refused to identify the micronation under suspicion in the case.

In a statement issued on Tuesday morning, Head of Government Michael Geiger stated that an investigation is underway “in order to determine the veracity of Kellett’s claim that he had contact with another micronational government and that he received an incentive to carry out this attempt to disrupt relations between Greifenberg and Molossia, as well as to embarrass HRH Grand Duke Paul and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Greifenberg.”
